Standards based grading helps improve student growth and achievement because it provides high quality and specific formative feedback for students, helps teachers better design learning opportunities, and communicates to parents regarding student strengths and areas for growth. So how does a district transition from traditional to standards based grading? What are the important considerations to building consensus for this change? Learn how one district navigated this course to create better communication and better understanding of student learning for teachers, parents and the students themselves
