Mr. John Bombardier serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District in Aberdeen, NJ. Mr. Bombardier started his professional career as a special education teacher in the Red Bank Borough Public Schools. In addition to serving as a special education teacher, Mr. Bombardier has served as a Literacy Coach, Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction and Director of Instruction and Evaluation. Mr. Bombardier also serves as the Co-Chair of the Monmouth County Curriculum Consortium (MC3), a non-profit educational organization dedicated to sharing ideas and resources to improve learning and leadership in schools across Monmouth and Ocean County.
This presentation will guide participants in how to leverage the Rubicon Atlas platform to satisfy the requirements of the QSAC Monitoring process. Participants will learn how the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District customized Atlas to ensure that each indicator required for curriculum guides as specified in the Instruction and Programs domain of the QSAC is addressed. Participants will also learn how a customized curriculum template and pre-filled menu options can support curriculum leaders in designing curriculum guides that are meaningful to teachers while ensuring compliance with QSAC.
