Curriculum Summit Morocco 2017

Join curriculum leaders and teacher leaders, alongside Rubicon consultants, as we come together to innovate curriculum practices!

Summit Themes

Conversations will be centered on the unique needs of international schools, and will focus on how we can push the boundaries of curriculum work to leverage our global community of educators to meet the needs of our learners. Sessions will be focused on three key themes to support curriculum leaders as well as teacher leaders with their curriculum process.  Some potential topics might be:

Curriculum Development
  • Curriculum Writing – From Inspiration to Design
  • Articulating the Curriculum Process
  • Approaches to Template Design: Curriculum Planners
Informed Curriculum Practices
  • Structure Teaching and Learning Discussions to Support Ongoing Refinement
  • Review Curriculum in line with Assessment Data to Facilitate Learning
  • Atlas Reports and Data Literacy
Leading the Process
  • Develop a Plan for Quality Curriculum Documentation and Review
  • Create a Process for School Level Curriculum
  • Approaches to Template Design: PLC, Accreditation, PD
Have a topic, process success or best practice to share?

Submit by September 1st, and presenters whose proposals are chosen will receive free entrance to the Summit – those presenting in a group, one fee will be waived.

General Schedule

Summit participants will have the chance to forge their own professional development path during the summit, creating a personalized learning experience geared towards developing the tools and resources to support their curricular objectives.  In addition, those who join us will have the opportunity to take advantage of work time built into their Summit schedule to allow for processing and opportunities to apply concepts learned.

Professional Development Credit

For those attending we will be offering Professional Development/Continuing Ed credit from Northwest Nazarene University. Credit costs $60 for 1 Credit Hour. More information to come! You must register for credit by October 9, 2017.

Curriculum Summit October 6-7, 2017 (EB Rate) $400.00

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation must be received in writing by email (pd@rubicon.com), or fax (503-224-7474) no less than 21 days prior to the event for a full refund or credit minus a $25.00 processing fee.  No refunds will be given after that date.

Attendee substitutions can take place up to 48 hours prior to the event without penalty when it is an exact workshop substitution.
