I’m always taking pictures of interesting phenomena around me, both when I travel and in my own backyard. Many of these pictures are well suited to launching a scientific investigation using the new dimensions in the NGSS, specifically Engineering Practices around modeling and asking questions. In this Spark webinar, we’ll be exploring how teachers and students can work with what they’ve got around them, documenting on devices, describing their observations, asking questions, researching, and explaining–all through modeling.
