Baltimore was one of many cities that had to suspend their recycling operations due to the public health emergency of the pandemic. In March of 2024, Mayor Brandon Scott fulfilled a promise to residents: weekly curbside recycling collection returned to Baltimore. This was no small feat and made possible through the tireless work of the Baltimore DPW under the impressive leadership of Director Craig Jeter.
