Atlanta, GA (May 14, 2019) — Rubicon, a technology company that powers a digital marketplace, provides a suite of SaaS products for waste, recycling, and smart city solutions, and collects and analyzes data for businesses and governments worldwide, today announced it has signed the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) America Recycles Pledge.
The America Recycles Pledge was designed by the EPA as a commitment by U.S.-based organizations to work toward a more resilient materials economy, and participate in ongoing dialogues with other pledge signatories to improve America’s recycling system. Rubicon® is an early adopter of the Pledge, as one of the first 75 companies or agencies across the country to sign on.
“Rubicon’s mission is to end waste and create a more circular economy,” said David Rachelson, Vice President of Sustainability at Rubicon. “At Rubicon, we work across the entire ecosystem—with haulers, businesses, and cities—to address the challenges of waste and recycling today. Signing the EPA’s America Recycles Pledge is a natural extension of the Rubicon mission, and we’re proud to be an early signatory.”
