ATLANTA, Oct. 02, 2017 (via Global Newswire)

Rubicon, the worldwide leader in sustainable, cloud-based waste and recycling solutions, today launched a contest to find the “Best Small Business in America.” Rubicon works with its small business customers across the United States to find new efficiencies and cost savings in their waste streams and to develop new and innovative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle materials.

The winner of the “Best Small Business in America” will receive $10,000 to help support and grow their business.

“We’re inspired by our small business customers who put their trust in Rubicon to manage their waste collection, recycling projects and sustainability opportunities,” said David Rachelson, Head of Sustainability, Rubicon. “We’re in search of the small businesses that balance a physical presence in their community while also embracing sustainability activities that make a difference for the environment.”

The competition begins today through Nov. 2 at 11:59 pm. To enter, visit www.rubiconglobal.com/best-small-business-contest and describe how you are “crossing the Rubicon” of success in your community and what makes your business stand out. Discuss the challenges you’ve faced and overcome to make your business successful as well as socially and environmentally conscious.

On Nov. 6, Rubicon will choose 10 finalists for an online vote, with the winner announced on “Small Business Saturday”— Nov. 25. The business with the most votes will receive a check in the amount of $10,000; second place will receive $2,000; while the third place winner will receive $1,000. Prizes are not transferable, see contest terms and conditions.
