Lane B. Moore

Founder and Managing Partner, Quartermoore Capital

Lane B. Moore is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Rubicon, and is responsible for helping to create and lead the strategic vision of the company. Moore has over 15 years of financial management experience as an investment banker, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur. In addition to his role at Rubicon, Moore is the Founder and Managing Partner of QuarterMoore, a private investment firm providing growth capital and strategic support to companies across the United States. The firm has historically focused its investments in the consumer products and services, franchising, logistics, waste management, and environmental services sectors.

Most recently, Moore was a Founder and Director of Bagster, until the company was acquired by Waste Management, Inc. in 2009. In 2010, Advertising Age named Bagster, Dumpster in a Bag one of America’s Hottest Brands. Prior to founding Bagster, Moore was a Principal at Five Paces Ventures, a venture capital fund making seed and early-stage technology investments. He began his career at Stephens Inc. in the firm’s corporate finance group.

Moore serves on the boards of several private companies and non-profit organizations, including the Corporate Advisory Board of the Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership (IGEL) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Georgia Conservancy. Moore is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
