Tower Compactor Rentals, based out of Del Ray Beach, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona provides waste and recycling compaction equipment nationwide to industrial and commercial companies. It offers balers, open-tops, receiver containers, stationary and self-contained compactors, pre-crushers, and more. Tower Compactor Rentals is a third-generation company that has been working with Rubicon for seven years.
Tower Compactor Rentals’ National Sales Representative, Tony Alvis, sat down with Rubicon to talk about the company and its mission for the Haul of Fame.
How does Rubicon’s mission to end waste match-up to Tower Compactor Rentals’ own company mission?
Tower Compactor Rentals: We are a niche partner as we are not an independent hauler per se; we primarily rent equipment such as balers and compactors to Rubicon and its customers. TCR provides the vessels that help Rubicon get closer to its mission to end waste.
What is the view of Tower Compactor Rentals when it comes to participating in the circular economy and helping build a more sustainable future?
TCR: A large part of our rental fleet is in place to assist our clients with their recycling goals. It would be accurate to say that more than half of our fleet is dedicated to our clients’ recycling efforts. Compactors help lower customer carbon footprints by reducing the frequency of hauls they would have with a traditional open-top.
How does Tower Compactor Rentals differentiate itself from its competitors?
TCR: We pride ourselves on our service delivery. Whether we are responding to a repair or need to meet an aggressive lead time, we strive to have the fastest response time in the industry. Furthermore, TCR maintains a deep and robust stock inventory of new and remanufactured equipment throughout the country to meet any lead time.
What do you love most about the community in which you work, and the customers you serve?
TCR: The waste industry in general is a small community. With a small community your reputation is everything. What Team Tower loves most about the waste community is partnering with great companies with great reputations such as Rubicon.
Where does Tower Compactor Rentals see itself five years from now?
TCR: In five years from now, TCR would like to grow by a minimum of one third our current monthly revenue. Such growth requires strong partnerships like the one we have with Rubicon. Alongside Rubicon, we look forward to innovating new ways to further the growth of sustainable practices in our industry.
