Welcome to the Haul of Fame, an interview series from Rubicon® in which we sit down with a hauler partner to talk about their company, their community, and how they’re collaborating with Rubicon in our mission to end waste.

Jiffy Junk started serving Suffolk and Nassau counties in New York State in 2014. It now provides junk collection and hauling services in 36 states, and continues to expand. Jiffy Junk has been working with Rubicon for five years.
In March 2023, Jiffy Junk pledged to plant 5,000 trees on behalf of Rubicon in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. Their donation will support the 90 percent of forestland owned by private landowners in Georgia and help to restore its natural state. Loblolly, slash, and longleaf pine trees that are native to the area will be planted to provide fire tolerance as well as habitat for endangered and threatened wildlife.
Jiffy Junk’s Managing Partner, Adam Butler, sat down with Rubicon to talk about the company and its mission for the Haul of Fame.
How does Rubicon’s mission to end waste match-up to Jiffy Junk’s own company mission?
Jiffy Junk: Jiffy Junk’s mission statement is simple: “To provide our clients with extraordinary service while respecting the environment for future generations by diverting junk from landfills.” Recycling is a global cause, and Jiffy Junk is dedicated to doing our part in reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
How does Jiffy Junk differentiate itself from its competitors?
JJ: We pride ourselves on being professional, respectful, and fast—in the field and in the office! We utilize the latest technology within the waste management industry in order to provide speedy response times. In addition to our exceptional customer service, we implement route optimization in order to reduce trips, therefore cutting service costs, using less fuel, and reducing carbon emissions.
What is the view of Jiffy Junk when it comes to participating in the circular economy and helping build a more sustainable future?
JJ: Jiffy Junk is committed to continuing to learn and employ new and innovative ways to reduce our carbon footprint through the latest in recycling technology.
What do you love most about the community in which you work, and the customers you serve?
JJ: We work hard every day to provide award winning service to all of our customers. No job is too big or too small, Jiffy Junk is happy to help. We love the continuous positive feedback, repeat customers, and five-star reviews!
Where does Jiffy Junk see itself five years from now?
JJ: Jiffy Junk sees itself leading the way in the junk removal and recycling industry. Continuously educating ourselves, inspiring others, and growing in order to better our industry and make an impact for future generations.
