Rubicon heads to spring conferences across the nation
Rubicon is gearing up for the 2013 spring conference season with a focus on attending Common Core-related sessions at national conferences across the country. A Rubicon team will attend the Annual National Science Teachers Association Conference April 11-14 in San Antonio and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics April 17-20 in Denver. Another group will head to the Annual Conference on Common Core State Standards and Assessment April 30-May 2 and the CCSSO National Conference on Student Assessment June 19-22 in Baltimore. NAIS Celebrates 50th Annual Conference
Independent School Leaders will gather for the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) annual conference this year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania February 27-March 1. The conference theme is "Think Big, Think Great." The organization celebrates their 50th anniversary this year. We look forward to seeing you there.
ECIS Announces Keynotes For Annual Leadership
The European Council of International Schools (ECIS) has announced keynote speakers for their Annual Leadership Conference to be held April 4-7 in Berlin, Germany. Speakers will include John Carr who writes and consults about internet safety and is one of the world's leading authorities on children's and young people's use of the internet; Dr. Yong Zhao an internationally known scholar and author whose focus is on the implications of globalization and technology on education; and Patricia O' Brien, the Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs and UN.
CMI Returns To Utah Summer 2013
Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs has announced that Curriculum 21 will return to Utah again this summer for the 2013 Curriculum Mapping Institute "Mapping to the Core."
